A friend to photography

I was shooting an engagement package for two long time friends of mine out in Long Beach, NY: Kim and Dan.My focusing point was on her face.For this photo, I put the Canon 35mm F/1.4 L on the Canon 5D Mk II and overexposed a bit then brought the exposure down in Lightroom 3. Afterwards I added the vignetting effect and messed with the color and saturation levels.Of course though, it doesn’t really need it. This photo captures their love so perfectly: they’re both bundled up nicely and sticking close to one another with the rest of the world in a haze behind them. More than anything, this signifies that this shot is about them and there is nothing else more important in the world to them than one another.Congrats, Kim and Dan.
